There are so many ways to craft an intimate day (we can talk about that next) and even more reasons to do it. Here are my very top reasons why you should ditch the wedding machine and create an intimate day just for you two.
-When you strip your day back to what its all about, starting your new life together you can be more intentional in what you choose to prioritize. But intimate days start with the foundation of just you and your partner being connected throughout the day. Whether this looks like the two of you on a mountain top, sharing your vows or in your backyard with just your closest family that you can’t imagine not having around. Less people means less schmoozing. Less distractions. More Intimacy.
-Wedding planning can be very overwhelming for a lot of folks. I can’t tell you the number of times my sweet couples have just been happy that the day is over because of how stressful the time leading up to their wedding has been. A more intimate ceremony means less planning. Not necessarily no planning depending on what you are wanting but less arranging. The right dress or suit or jumpsuit, the right photographer, the right location, and a few small details like food and a simple bouquet. Simple.
-Along with the stress of wedding planning comes money stress. While elopements and intimate weddings aren’t necessarily “cheap” they are a great way to put your money where you want to put it (adventure). The average wedding costs over 30k and just imagine the adventure that could pay for!
-Let’s bring it back to the two of you. No big audience please. When it’s small you can say the things you wouldn’t say in front of everyone you’ve ever met. You can be the real you and there are less distractions pulling you apart.

How much photography coverage do you need for an intimate day?
Just because there are less people around doesn’t mean your day is any less deserving of being remembered or any less full an amazing. In fact you have the freedom to fill each moment with exactly what you want to fill it with. The day you create will be magic from beginning to end. From starting your morning together with coffee and your pup. To putting on your dress or strapping on some suspenders to tearing up because it is starting to feel so real as you see yourself all put together in the mirror. You will want to remember how it all felt and if you’re spending time apart you can get a glimpse into your partners day as well. Are you excited for that moment you first see each other and hold each other? How about a hike together where you can make stops to take it all in. You’ll say your vows, there will be nervous and excited giggles, so many snuggles and so many tears. You’ll share your first meal as a married couple, maybe with a private chef, maybe a magical picnic packed for you. There will be so many moments little and big that you’ll want to hold onto for forever, You deserve to look back on your whole magical day!

Y'all get to create the perfect day for YOU so whether that looks like starting the day with tea in bed with y'all and your pup or getting ready separately to surprise each other with a first look, followed by a long and magical hike or a sweet jeep adventure to an amazing overlook to say your vows. There are so many amazing ways to craft your perfect day and I'd love to help you as needed.

I have some awesome questionnaires for this and we can hop on a FaceTime or grab a drink and get it all worked out. I will give you vendor recommendations, help with your timeline and help you to create a day that is totally planned around the two of you and keeping that joy and connection all day <3
